Bringing new devices to market quickly is one of the main key challenges to manufacturers identified by EmsPT in a recent LinkedIn survey of 220 global medical device manufacturing representatives.
43% of survey respondents noted that bringing innovative, cost effective devices to market efficiently were key to their overall strategy.
20% of those surveyed said that reducing overall cost of goods was their main challenge, while18% indicated that reducing the cost of compliance was a critical issue.The survey also revealed other areas of importance for medical device manufacturers including improving customer supply and satisfaction levels, line extension and
communication in the supply chain.
